The Cardfight Vanguard: Overdress Special Series History Collection focuses on reprints for the Premium and V Premium format. In addition to reissue cards, there are cards with updated shield and trigger values included in the set. Cards with certain abilities from Premium format, VR rarity cards, and draw trigger Sentinels from V Premium format are reprinted in the set. Abilities of certain G Units updated. Shield and trigger values of selected trigger units are updated. Existing versions of the updated cards from previous sets can be used with the new values and abilities after this set's release. Each box contains 10 packs with 3 random cards. Each box includes a box topper promo card. There are 340 different cards in the set - 25 RRR, 51 RR, 263 C, plus parallels.
